We believe your spiritual journey is personal, and we strive to collect the minimum information necessary to deliver our services.

Data Security
- All communication is encrypted in transit.
- User information is securely stored.
- We never sell personal information.
Where Your Data Lives
ATMA uses trusted infrastructure providers to run the service. These providers process your data only on our behalf and under contract:
- Managed backend (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase): hosts your profile, progress, bookmarks, notes, reminders and AI conversation history in an encrypted PostgreSQL database.
- Authentication (Google Sign-In): verifies your identity; we receive your name, email and avatar from Google.
- AI Gateway (Lovable AI, using Google Gemini and OpenAI models): processes the messages you send to ATMA AI to generate responses. Prompts are not used to train third-party foundation models.
- Web push (VAPID): if you enable reminders, a device push token is stored to deliver notifications.
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with encryption at rest by our infrastructure providers. We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers.
Data Retention
- Account and practice data (progress, bookmarks, notes) is retained while your account is active.
- When you delete your account, your account and related personal data are removed immediately from live systems. A small audit record of the deletion request (user id, email, reason, timestamps) is retained for compliance and fraud-prevention purposes. Encrypted backups roll off within 90 days.
- AI conversation history is retained with your account so you can review past sessions; deleting your account deletes it.
Children
ATMA is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data to ATMA, please contact us and we will delete it.
